Confusion over case sensitivity
...hat refer to case. The smb.conf man page says:
case sensitive = yes/no
~ controls whether filenames are case sensitive. If they aren't then
~ Samba must do a filename search and match on passed names
However, if I cd to a mounted samba share I get the following results
from a shell:
ara@zoidberg $ touch test
ara@zoidberg $ file test
test: empty
ara@zoidberg $ file Test
Test: empty
ara@zoidberg $ file test2
test2: Can't stat `test2' (No such file or directory)
IMHO, the correct outcome would be for 'file Test' to have yeilded the
'Can't stat...' message too, as...

As far as I can tell "numericality" is not a word. Maybe this method
should be renamed.

Dovecot + Cygwin the 2nd
Hi,
i still try to get dovecot to run under cygwin.
After a post on the cygwin list i am able tu run dovecot.
Under Cygwin you have to run dovecot by inetd. Starting the binary
"dovecot.exe" does not work.
Well the server is running but answers with a fatal error.
Account: 'localhost', Server: 'localhost', Protokoll: POP3,
Serveranswer: 'Fatal: EOF while reading

broadcast from domain-0 not reaching guest
Hello,
I got Xen working on my machine using the packages that come with
Fedora Core 4, but I got one problem: broadcast packages sent from
Domain-0 will not reach the guest os. The rest seems to work perfectly.
broadcast from guest reaches LAN.
broadcast from LAN(but not Domain-0) reaches guest.
Does anybody know how to get this working?
