LDA + Postfix + LDAP + Sieve (Vacation): Wrong Domain in Reply
...39;m stumped as to why sieve isn't getting/using the envelope sender's
domain. I'm hoping someone here can point out (a hopefully obvious)
mistake.
I've attached my four pertinent config files as etc.tgz only slightly scrubbed.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

ZFS on Mac - new sighting
There''s been another sighting of ZFS on Mac. The latest developer
release of Leopard (Mac OS 10.5) has a dialogue box calling out the
"Zettabyte File System (ZFS)" as an option. The first publication I
saw this is a French website called Mac4Ever - http://mac4ever.com/
news/27485/zettabyte_sur_leopard/
I put up a Babelfish translation at my site, http://storagemojo.com/?

This is going to be great for ZFS, Sun and Apple. Nat...

Migration Issues: Can't update newly added column values

that originally had "is_deleted" set to true to have a timestamp value
in "deleted_at" instead of NULL.

Well, there you have it. Any help or enlightenment is greatly
appreciated.

Can not create model instance via params on specific model but can on others....
Anyone have an idea on this? Got a weird situation where on a specific model
I can not create an instance using params, yet it works fine on other
models. The model which does not work is a stock model, there is no logic in
it. Ruby 1.8.7/Rails 3.0.5.
Does not work:
(rdb:1) PaymentTransaction.create(:purchase_id => 3)
#<PaymentTransaction id: 2, purchase_id: nil, action: nil, amount: nil,

Actionmailer Help Needed
Hello everyone,
Nice to meet you all, am new to the forum.
I''m stuck with rake / actionmailer trying to display a set of found
records.
We have a simple actionmailer rake task that is supposed to send a daily
email digest of tasks that are due for a specific user. So far, it''s
working but the email only displays the first message.
In my task model

rails+prawnto: setting :type to :prawn in a #render_to_string call not working
Hello, my question is rails related though it is also somewhat
specific to the prawnto plugin (installed latest version as of
2010-03-15). I would ask on a prawnto forum/list if I knew where one
was.
Anyhow, I''m using rails 2.3.5 (with ruby 1.8.6 patchlevel 111) in an
app that is successfully using the prawnto gem (with the prawn gem
version 0.7.1). I''ve got a a

Best 1.5TB drives for consumer RAID?
Which consumer-priced 1.5TB drives do people currently recommend?
I had zero read/write/checksum errors so far in 2 years with my trusty old Western Digital WD7500AAKS drives, but now I want to upgrade to a new set of drives that are big, reliable and cheap.
As of Jan 2010 it seems the price sweet spot is the 1.5TB drives.
As I had a lot of success with Western Digital drives I thought I would

Why is #verify_active_connections! :nodoc: ?
Hi, I''ve just got a quick question.
How come
ActiveRecord::ConnectionAdapters::ConnectionHandler#verify_active_connections!
is marked with :nodoc: ?
I understand that this is used internally (depending upon an application''s
configuration?) on every request (?) to clear out old, stale database
connections. All this to prevent the old, classic "MySQL server has gone

Status of Rails.application.routes.recognize_path()
This might be more a question for the guys in the "Ruby on Rails: Core"
group, but I''ll try it out here first...
So, while writing a gem (engine) for rails, I found that I needed to have my
app (in a pre-filter) directly query the router. In the "old" days, this was
done using ActionController::Routing::Routes.recognize_path(). My 2nd
edition of "Agile Web

Parameterized ActiveRecord Associations: Any such thing?
Hi list, how are ya?
So, my current project is just begging for the ability to have
parameterized associations in my ActiveRecord classes. Basically I
need something that is a cross between named scopes and standard
associations (has_many specifically).
I''m wondering if such a thing exists or, if not, if anyone else has an
elegant, equivalent solution?
Example:
class Sprocket <

Status of Rails.application.routes.recognize_path()
Sorry if this question isn''t really "Ruby on Rails: Core" material. I feel
it is, at least kind-of (also, I first tried asking in "Ruby on Rails: Talk"
to no avail.).
So, while writing a gem (engine) for rails, I found that I needed to have my
app (in a pre-filter) directly query the router. In the "old" days, this was
