I will turn the logging level up to 10, but will have to stop samba first, so hopefully editing the smb.conf shouldn't cause a problem then. The below seems to give me several minutes of 15-60% cpu usage. As far as I can tell there doesn''t seem to be anything really wrong with my configuration.
