I've got myself an Adaptec 2200 HW RAID card to play for couple of days. Tha card uses aacraid device driver. Seems to work nicely, however just wandering if there's a tool (prefferably CLI) for CentOS that can read out RAID configuration data, status of individual drives, maybe even manage (create/delete) RAID devices? Thanks for any and all pointers.

I have successfully kickstarted 3.4 x86_64, but after updating my repo to 3.5 I see a kernel panic when it loads vmlinuz. Funny thing is that I had one box that would kernel panic while trying to install centos-3.4-x86_64, which then would install fine after updating to 3.5, but now my other mahcines will not kickstart. --

Anyone managed to get this working on CentOS 4? I'd love to hear how. .dn

I'm spec-ing a development server for some Haskell hackers. In particular, they need to be able to build and run the Glasgow Haskell Compiler (ghc), the x86_64 port of which isn't quite there yet. Dear All I'm about migrating Samba 2.2.8 to 3.0.13 on Sparc, Solaris 8. Compilation and Installation without any problem. Runs fine with exception of 2.2.8-user validation in the domain (no problems with validation of WXP- and W2K-Client Machines, newly set users (./smbpasswd -a username) works perfectly ). I simply have copied smbpasswd 2.2.8 to the diferent directory of Samba 3.0.13.
