Mini-Compiz on Miniature Linux/OpenGL (embedded 3D window system)
...nvironment for it... thanks to SciTech drivers it can run OpenGL without X, which cuts in size just enough, but not only that... its setup free, its plug'n'play... well, have a look, hope you'll find it interesting: Linux based OpenGL development system without X http://one.xthost.info/zelko/opengl.html now, these scitech drivers are great considering all the stuff that is going(not going) on with Linux drivers, but the most important part, for COOL effects, is not (fully) HW accelerated, like draw to textures, blending... but, still... 3D cube desktop and all the -window distortion...

[fdo] OpenGL without X?
...hout X Minimalistic GNU/Linux system, stripped down of everything, but core necessary files to compile and run OpenGL/C code. It has simplified directory structure and cleaned up internal cross referencing. Programs compiled in myOS will run on any Linux with or without X. http://one.xthost.info/zelko/opengl.html or please suggest, if you know where/who might be the best to ask this question? thanks, zelko -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Win95 won't work with Samba 2.0.2
Hmmm... I've sent a couple of questions to the list recently, with no responses. Are my messages getting out? Since upgrading to 2.0.2, our Win95 boxes are having problems accessing shares. WinNT works perfectly. Win95 worked fine with 1.whatever, but now it can only see files that are actually in the share directory. It can see subdirectories of the share, but they appear as empty
