metafor
...both sub-group and meta-regression.
In subgroup-analyses, I have stratified the database to create a
separate csv file just for European women from the original database
and conducted the following:
women_west<-read.csv("women_west.csv")
print(women_west)
dat<-escalc(measure="ZCOR",ri=Pearson,ni=N,data=women_west,append=TRUE)
res<-rma(yi,vi,data=dat)
is.factor(dat$year)
forest(res,transf=transf.ztor)
In meta-regression, I used the original database, but used categorical
moderators for sex (=women), and ethnicity (=european) to find the
effect specifically in Europea...

user-defined spatial correlation structure in geeglm/geese
...ing for residual
spatial correlation . Several questions:
1. Are GEE’s the right choice?
2. How can I specify a user-defined spatial (exponential) correlation
structure in geeglm or geese? I did not really get this from the help-sites.
I guess I need to set corstr = "userdefined" and zcor = Zcor, with Zcor
being in some way the specified correlation matrix – but how? I earlier
specified spatial exponential correlation structures in glmmPQL, but it
seems that this does not work in the same way for geeglm or geese. Do I need
to use the function genZcor?
3. Makes it sense to use conti...

I specified the "rma.uni' function so that it looks like this:

problem with geepack
...d fine:
gee1<-geese(Activity~Water, id=Individual, data=dataF, family=gaussian)
but when I use other variables e.g
gee2<-geese(Activity~Hgt+Size+Water, id=Individual, data=dataF,
family=gaussian)
I get the error message
"Error in geese.fit(x, y, id, offset, soffset, w, waves, zsca, zcor,
corp, :
nrow(zsca) and length(y) not match"
which I am not able to understand.
The same problem has been reported in the list in 2006, but I have not
found any response to it.
Any suggestion?

Corrected : Efficient writing of calculation involving each element of 2 data frames
Hi
I have 2 data.frames each of the same number of rows (approximately 30000 or
more entries).
They also have the same number of columns, lets say 2.
One column has the date, the other column has a double precision number. Let
the column names be V1, V2.
Now I want to calculate the correlation of the 2 sets of data, for the last
100 days for every day available in the data.frames.
My code looks

However, I am making a mistake with:
library(geepack)
fit.geese <- geese(score ~ chem + time, id=id,
family=gaussian,corstr="exch",data=dat)
I obtain the following error:
Error in geese.fit(x, y, id, offset, soffset, w, waves, zsca, zcor, corp, :
nrow(zsca) and length(y) not match
Could someone tell me what I have done incorrectly. Thanks for your
time, Juliet.
