Block packets based on content
Is it possible to block packets based on content? I would specifically like
to block the script kiddies " GET /script/*" packets from reaching my
webserver.
Thanks for your time,
Steve

iptables 1.2.5 and shorewall 1.2.8?
Hey all-
Trying to run sh 1.2.8 and iptables 1.2.5 on my linux 2.4.17 box. I
build the kernel from kernel.org sources, and then patched it with
iptables 1.2.5 by doing
%make pending-patches KERNEL_DIR=/usr/src/linux
I let it run and patched these:

other way to do this that I'm missing?
Cheers, Jeremy

Using Samba 2.2.8a with Microsoft Cluster Services
Hello all-
First time posting to group in 3.5 years of using Samba ;)
I have a particularily odd problem that the folks over at
sql-server-performance.com forums have never seen nor heard of... I am
setting up an W2kAS/SQL2k active/passive cluster using Cluster Services.
The MSCS requires a common domain login for installing and configuring
MSCS which I have setup on my Samba 2.2.8a PDC

G729
I have come to realize that I don't have to have a g729a license in
order to make use of an ATA-186 or 7460 connecting to another 7460. I
just need to allow the codec in sip.conf.
Now what ramification does that have when I dial out over one of my
analog line (connected to * by a channelbank and a T100P) using my 7460
or ATA-186. The only benefit I am looking for is reduced bandwidth
