Nonliner Rgression using Neural Nnetworks
...R using neural networks, where the
output variable can range from -Inf to + Inf., unlike discriminant
analysis where the output is confined to one or zero. The library nnet
seems to work only in the latter case but then I could be wrong.
Please help me there.
Thanks in advance.

On the Use of the nnet Library
...such a function in
the library, nnet? Such a function may help me reduce the number of the
explanatory variables.
I wonder if anyone could help me in such elementary questions.
---- It's elementary, Watson!
I remain an obedient Watson, hoping for Holmes' wisdom.

Correlation of coefficients?
...ch has shown many examples of R/S-Plus outputs but no
explanations of meaning.
I am afraid this turns out to be a silly and unworthy question. Would
anyone be kind enough to show relevant literature or a text book to a
layperson studying on his/her own?
Thanks in advance.

Cases as Variables in Principal Component Analysis?
...to give a specific example.
In my trade(chemistry), the data is commonly analyzed by the PLS(Partial
Least Suare) method, which seems to give more or less the same result.
Only the contribution of the PC's seems to be different.
I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
