question about formulating a nls optimization
Dear list,
I'm migrating a project from Matlab to R, and I'm
facing a relatively complicated problem for nls. My
objective function is below:
>> objFun <- function(yEx,xEx,tEx,gamma,theta,kappa){
yTh <- pdfDY(xEx,tEx,gamma,theta,kappa)
sum(log(yEx/yTh)^2)
}
The equation is yTh=P(xEx,tEx) + noise.
I collect my data in:
>> data <- data.frame(xEx,tEx,yEx)
And I do the nls:
aux <- nls( ~ objFun(yEx,xEx,tEx,gamma,theta,kappa),
data=data,

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list.
I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without
modifications.
How did I try it?
Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock )
Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a
rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee
prep-out.log
The build failed at the end:
