Sorry, to bother the list one more time: but the following worked at least for 'urca': in NAMESPACE I now included explicitly: import(methods) a fix of the 'urca'-package will be uploaded to CRAN on the weekend. Fritz, will this work for ypur package 'flexclust' too? I have in my DESCRIPTION imports: methods and in flexclust it is in depends: methods. However, both packages have not import(methods) in their NAMESPACE. Anyway, I wonder why 'import(methods)' is explicitly needed in NAMESPACE? Would a smart and bright soul...

write.foreign, SPSS on Mac OS X
Hi all, I have jut installed the foreign package (v 0.8-8) on my OS X machine, and have a bit of a problem writing out a data frame in SPSS format. Specifically, the code file (the .sps format file) seems to write 3 unprintable hex values instead of double quotes. For example, in the following output ... cwrsync and CPU usage
Hello. I have a "problem" witch cwsrync and a questions. Does cwrsync process (rsync.exe) use 100% (more or less) CPU in Windows 2000 server witch a high level of kernel usage ? read columns of quoted numbers as factors
Suppose I have a data file (possibly with a huge number of columns), where the columns with factors are coded as "1", "2", "3", etc ... The default behavior of read.table is to convert these columns to integer vectors. adding new items to index breaks searches with *
Hi after upgrading to ferret 0.10.1 and bleeding edge aaf i''m getting some strange behavior.
