...ree
entries in this file.
Questions:
- Is this normal for an out-of-the-box Samba install?
- Should I install the other 52 LDAP entries, if I want to do
centralised user/group mapping for Unix servers?
Thanks,
Brian.

Really, IDMU was not installed.
There is the file ypServ30.ldif

From reading his old smb.conf it appears it was, but I noticed

changetype: modify
add: $1
$1: $2
delete: $1
$1: $2
This is called a constrained update, and avoids a race where the value...

UNIX attribute UID no longer increments with RSAT
Hello,
I'm using rfc2307 to enable Unix attributes on my DC's. Recently
when adding a user and attempting to add a UID with the RSAT, I
receiving the following error.
'Duplicate UID. Assign a uniqueUID.'
How do I list all users and their UID? I tried using 'pdbedit' and
wbinfo. Pdbedit appears to list the XID's and wbinfo needs me to specify
