I was able to get h.264 support on www.youtube.com/html5 on fedora 21 by installing gstreamer1-libav but that package does not exist in C6 (or it's popular third party repos) What is the name of the package which adds h.264 to firefox on youtube/html5 in C6?

On CentOS 4.6 fully updated, stock Firefox, if I type in http://www.youtube.com in the address bar it always goes to http://tw.youtube.com and has the encoding all messed up. This afternoon, I bought a pair of ear plugs (the large flat kind that hook onto my ears). Plugged them in to test and they work perfectly. I'm listening to streamaudio.com as I type this. However, when I tried to watch a youtube.com video (my wife exercise dancing) just silence. She had the same video on to test and the sound was fine on her box. Then, I tried system-config-soundcard and with the volume set at 100%, just silence. Does this have to do with lower voltages coming from youtube.com and system-config-soundcard...
