Redelivery of mdbox messages to pass through sieve
Hey, I've been slack and haven't updated my sieve script for yonks, and finally got round to it. What I was wondering is whether there was a way to basically take all the messages from a folder and pass it through sieve again. I've found earlier messages in this list, but they were for Maildir format, not mdbox which I use now. Does anyone know of a way t...

It's just stopped working! (1.9.18p8, IRIX 5.3)
Hi all, I'm extremely puzzled by the behaviour of one of my Samba servers. It's been working fine for yonks, and this morning (abuout 11:32) it just stopped. (mostly) Connecting to shares still works. Navigating the tree till works. Changing (DOS) attributes still works. But actually opening files and reading the contents doesn't work. The client just times out (Win 3.11, and NT4.0) or hangs (sm...

Pentium Samba server?
I have got an old pentium back. It is an Intel 66Mhz processor, 16MB RAM and a 2 gigabyte harddrive. Could it be used as a dedicated samba server and what Linux disto would work well? I was thinking of Debian 3 or Slackware. Can samba act as a 2000 PDC?

WinNT -> samba -> Linux -> NFS -> Solaris
I have Solaris machines that I'd like to use to gain access to SMB shared drives. I can get a Linux box to mount SMB shares via samba. I can get a Solaris box to access files on a Linux box using NFS. Can I get the Solaris box to access files on the Linux box, which actually are mounted to SMB shares using samba (smbmount) on the Linux box? Is there any documents for this? Thanks -SR

(no subject)
Hello! I trying to setup Domain Controller with Samba, but I have some trouble. As I understood, I ought to create "Trust Account" for every mashine, and if mashine name is "vasya" then account should be "vasya$" but FreeBSD is not allowed to create accounts with "$" characters, what should I do ? Thanks! /* spectre */

X100P not recognised on FreeBSD system
I've just received an OEM Wildcard X100P FXO card. Installing into my FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE box it doesn't appear to be recognised at all. Since it's the first time I've put a PCI card in this machine I've just dropped a Netgear ethernet card in to make sure there isn't something fundamentally wrong with the motherboard, but that works fine. Is there anything else I
