check and verify
Hi,
I have 6 columns in my dataframe (test)
A B C D E F
a b c d 40 30
a f a b 20 10
x m y m 50 30
If character value in column A matches with that in column C, it gets the percentage in column E, similarly if value in column B matches the value in D, it gets the percentage in F column. If it doesn't match, it gets 0 percentage.
How can I do that ?
thanks

pinVcpu not working
Hi all,
I am working with libvirt and I am trying to set cpu affinity. Now I can always use
virsh vcpupin <domain_name> <vcpu> <pcpu>
to pin vcpus to pcpus. I want to do it using Python API. Now, there is function pinVcpu which is supposed to do that. But this is not working. For example I gave
dom.pinVcpu(0,1)
but still my vcpu affinity is for all the pcpus. The

splits with 0s in middle columns
Hi,
A column of my df looks like
A
10/20/30
40/20
60/10/10/5
80/10
I want to split it such that the last column has the last composition and if there are not enough the middle columns get the 0s. That way my df would look like
A1 A2 A3 A4
10 20 0 30
40 0 0 20
60 10 10 5
80 0 0 10
How can I do that ??

Text to Speech In R
Dear all,
Excuse me for my searching skills: I just couldn't figure out how to do any simple text to speech in R console.
What I want to do is, out put simple English words or sentences to speaker as voice. No fanciness. For example, I want the R console to speak "Hello world" or "Howdy".
Do you know of any related function/package? Thanks,
- Alex

remove margin between plot and axis
Readers,
Am trying to plot a graph with type 'h' and want to remove the white
space between the plot lines and the x axis. The help section 'par'
suggests that the option 'mai' controls this feature, but the syntax
plot(...mai=c(0,1,1))
is ineffective
Any advice please?

Chi-square parameter estimation
Hi. I have made 100 experiments of an M/M/1 queue, and for each one I have calculated both, mean and variance of the queue size. Now, a professor has told me that variance is usually chi-squared distributed. Is there a way in R that I can find the parameter that best fits a chi-square to the variance data? I know there's fitdistr()m but this function doesn't handle chi-square. I believe
