This is irritating: I've got a server I just upgraded to 5.4, then rebooted, only to discover that it just *sits* there at the grub boot menu. I looked at grub.conf, and uncommented hiddenmenu (which should have been done long ago). It *still* sits there when I reboot. Hello, I am running slackware 9 and I have also updated samba to version 2.2.8a from the slackware security update. I can access my xp box with no problems from my linux box but I cannot access my linux box from my xp box. I have been on several forums and IRC channels and no one seems to have much insight into my problem, someone recommended trying to post my problem here. I have gotten
