Hello
I have a data frame and one of its columns is as follows:
Col
chr1:71310034
chr14:23354088
chr15:37759058
chr22:18262638

chr10_random:4369261
chrUn:3545097

function code
R-help,
Sorry for this question (I guess it has been addressed before but
I could not find it in the archives)
but how can I see a function code
when the following comes up:
> svymean
function (x, design, na.rm = FALSE, ...)
{
.svycheck(design)
UseMethod("svymean", design)
}
<environment: namespace:survey>
Thanks in advance

counts of each column that are not NA, and/or greater than column means
Hi,
Given a test matrix, test <- matrix(c(1,2,3,NA,2,3,NA,NA,2), 3,3)
A) How to compute the counts of each column (excluding the NA) i.e., 3, 2, 1
B) How to compute the counts of each column (excluding the NA) that are
greater than the column means ? i.e., 1, 1, 0
I could write a for loop, but hope to use better alternative.

Mac OS X client problem with supplementary groups
I have a very simple Samba 3.0.1 install without LDAP/ADS/winbind
support compiled into it. I have noticed a strange problem with
supplementary groups I noticed with Mac OS X (10.3.2). The SAMBA
server is using 'ntdomain' authentication.
When someone connects to the SAMBA server and gives their username in
uppercase (the OS's default), then none of the secondary UNIX groups
