Yealink SIP-T22P Auto Provisioning via HTTP ?
...ng via FTP/HTTP/TFTP I have got an example of the generic
Firmware .cfg file that allows you to upgrade all handsets firmwares,
All of the SIP-T22P handsets look for a file called y000000000005.cfg
@ the URL configured on the device. This was easy to find an example
of the file. via the Docs on the Yealink site and Google.
The issue is that I have not been able to find an example of the per
handset .cfg file...
Like the Cisco handsets the file should be named after the MAC address
of the handset, and should be in the same location as the
y000000000005.cfg file, I just cant find any examples...
I hav...

[OT] Yealink Phones
I've just started deploying these (well the T28P model) after years of
Snom issues and they look pretty good (although the documentation is
execrable; if you thought the Snom stuff was obtuse Yealink have got
them knocked into a cocked hat!).
Anyway, for provisioning I use HTTP with a DHCP entry like:-
#
# Yealink Phones
#
group {
#
# The phone should pickup the
# model config file (y0000000000000.cfg for the...

[OT] Yealink IP Phones
Hello all,
After numerous issues with Snom phones (360/370/870) potentially looking to migrate too Yealink as their product range looks very promising indeed.
Are any of you using them with Asterisk ? How do they perform ? Do you use mass deployment at all ?
Would be very interested to hear from you.

[OT] Yealink T26/28/38 and Open-VPN
Hi,
Sorry for an OT post but striking out a bit at the moment trying to get a response from Yealink R&D. Has anybody successfully managed to get a Yealink phone to work across Open-VPN when using tlsauth ? We really do hope that it is possible due to the benefits tlsauth offers against DoS.

Problems with inbound connection and registering phone
...is that I thought I'd try an internal phone to see if
I could get the hello-world stuff working at the least. I thought I'd
try Zoiper, but none of the download buttons at
https://www.zoiper.com/en/voip-softphone/download/current did anything
when clicked, so I set up a spare line on a Yealink TA33 phone that is
connected to another much much older Asterisk implementation running a
piece of amateur radio gear called Allstar. The version of Asterisk used
in the Allstar project is ancient--like 1.4 or 1.6--and the
configuration syntax and options are quite different, so I didn't ge...

DSCP QoS value in YeaLink phone settings
Hello list,
I need to set Voice QoS and SIP QoS for YeaLink. The possible values are
0 ~ 63.
With Grandstream I can fill in DiffServ 46, which is EF. That's what I want.
With Snom I fill in 184, which corresponds to EF or DSCP 46 (according
to their wiki)
But what value do I want to fill in with this YeaLink ???
This is a conversion table :

Failed to authenticate device "Ext 110"
I'm having a strange problem recently with a Yealink SIP-T28P phone
connected to Asterisk 11.4.0 via openvpn. It was working fine for months,
and now when I dial anything from the phone, it shows "Forbidden", and the
Asterisk console shows:

BLF support in Asterisk and early/confirmed/terminated/proceeding NOTIFY states.
I have a setup with Yealink phones & Asterisk Server (all latest patches).
I am using BLF to display the states of other phones. While this works
MOST of the time (busy, being called) it does NOT work when a phone is
NOT regisstered at all, the yealink phones display a green dot EVEN if a
phone is turned off (try expl...

OpenVPN design w/ Yealink
Hello,
We are toying with setting up a redundant data center for our hosted PBX
product, and plan to use the OpenVPN feature of our Yealink phones for
connectivity to each data center. The feature has been fantastic with
the first data center, allowing us to bypass all SIP NAT issues entirely
and allowing remote access to the phones' web interface without having
to touch the customers' firewalls.
We recently discovered that t...

Yealink/G722/No Outbound Audio?
So I've got a bit of a head scratcher. Wanted to get some insight.
I've got a PBX running 12.3.0
We're a ULAW shop from end to end. But I've been playing with G722 just
for fun. I've got a Yealink T46G on my desk, And my colleague, A Polycom
IP650 (Same office).
Basically, Whenever I make an outbound call to a destination to something
not G722 ready, I get no incoming audio.
Example 1. From my T46G, I call the IP650. The call comes up in G722 and
we can both talk, No issues.

Yealink t26 and T28 Panels
Hi Guys
We have a strange a strange issue at a client they have 3 panels on their
phone and every so often the panels reboot themselves yet the phone stays
on.
We decided to replace the T26 for a T28 to see if it fixes the issue and
still have the exact same issue.
Has anyone seen this before?

Grandstream GXP2140
Hi Everyone.
I have a customer looking to deploy about 20 Grandstream GXP2140 phones. Normally they would deploy Yealink brand phones but they want a phone with gigabit pass through and the Yealinks with gigabit are too expensive for their budget.
Does anyone on the list have experience with the GXP2140? Is it a reliable phone? Does anyone have recommendations for other phones with gigabit pass through?

PJSIP Weirdness, or just my weirdness?
...Any ideas? I tried to get the "Unavail" entry out... I
removed it from the db, I rebooted the phone, restarted asterisk, and it is
still there.
MYSTERY #2:
The above cisco-spa, when it calls out over the trunk, all is well,
wonderful 2-way audio.
But when I do the same operation from my yealink phones, I get my cell with
one-way audio.
It's a classic NAT situation: the phone system is in a droplet at digital
ocean, but my phones are here at home behind a NAT. I see only 3 NAT
related options:
force_rport
rtp_symmetric
rewrite_contact
and I set them all to "yes", and they c...

High volume BLF - Suggestions?
...low-end hardware,
but we cannot find any handsets that can cope with it longer term.
Our test involves about 10 BLF-NOTIFY messages per second to each
handset with a 5-second pause every 5 seconds. This will either crash
or render unusable all of the following combinations:
snom360 + 1 x sidecar
Yealink T28 + 1 x sidecar
Yealink T28 + 2 x sidecar
Cisco SPA504g + 1 x sidecar
Cisco SPA504g + 2 x sidecar
Cisco SPA525g + 1 x sidecar (reboots often)
Cisco SPA525g + 2 x sidecar (reboots quickly)
Aastra 55i + non-LCD sidecar
Did not try Polycom as they do not do directed pickup and only small sidecars....

OpenVPN Clients Intermittently Cannot Call In
Hello,
I am running Asterisk 11.12.0 on CentOS 6.4. The asterisk server and internal phones are located on the 10.10.32.0/21 LAN subnet. I have many internal SIP phones, which appear to be working correctly. I have a few external phones (Yealink SIP-T32G or other Yealink model) on 192.168.32.0/24 which have an OpenVPN client configured on them that connects back to the LAN network through a pfSense gateway with OpenVPN configured on it.
Asterisk server LAN IP: 10.10.32.10
My internal test phone: 146 at 10.10.32.96
My external test phone:...
