What torrent are y'all using?
I grabbed the torrent off of one of the iso mirrors, but it is coming
down so slow - I have to wonder if the torrent file is the incorrect one
for the bad file mentioned on the list earlier.
Would someone be kind enough to point me to a mirror with a known good
torrent file?

[LLVMdev] Clang 3.5 Release Pre-Pre-Pre-Announcement
Have you been sleeping poorly worried about the Clang 3.5 release? Well, this may help! The plan right now is to start testing in July with August as the target release month. There isn’t a schedule yet, of course. But it should be a goodly amount of time for all y’all to prepare for the release process....

RAM Requirements
Hey Y'all,
Does anyone know where I can look, please post a URL, where I can find
out what the minimum system requirements are for CentOS 6.4?
I've searched the CentOS.org web site for this but I've come up empty.
I've got an old machine that had RH9 on it. The HD died so I had to

Hi!
I would like to hear what printers go good w/our operating system.
While back, I should have checked w/y'all like I'm doing now but I just
went ahead and bought a Konica-Minolta PagePro 1350W. Now that W at the

rolling your own kernel - guidelines?
Let's say I want to use a much newer kernel - even one from the future,
such as the upcoming 2.6.24. :-) What would y'all smart folks do in this
case, in order to avoid any possible nasty consequences?
Would you import the config file from the original CentOS5 kernel into
the new kernel, and let the k...

How are people managing startup/shutdown of winbindd?
Greetings,
I realize many people will never use winbindd, and thus it will likely not
get included in /etc/init.d/samba (on my Debian system; your file may vary)
by default, so another solution seems in order.
It's not as important to be able to start and stop winbindd now that it's
getting more robust, but I'...

About the flash-plugin
Y'all may remember I posted here weeks ago, that flash-plugin was
crashing. There was an update this morning, which I did on my
workstation... and it hasn't crashed all day on either of the two radio
stations who I listen to via streaming media.

global variables in a function
Y'all,
I would like to have most of the variables in my function to be global
instead of local. I have not found any references that tell me now to
do that. If I have missed a reference please excuse me and tell me
what I have missed.
Thanks,
Keith Jones

Helping out?
Wow, three threads in two days, I promise to be less loquacious from now
on.
Anyways, I've decided to run CentOS over Whitebox on my firewall because
of the timeliness of updates. Is there some way I can assist in the
CentOS effort? It would be nice if there were a "wanted" section on
