[nbdkit PATCH v3 0/3] bind .zero to Perl
Requires patch 1 and 2 of the python series: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2017-January/msg00126.html This is the perl implementation along the same lines. We still haven't decided if patch 1 of the python series should change OCaml to report errno as reliable or not, but perhaps we can commit that patch as-is now and then touch things up further when we actually get set_error

Cannot compile wine fully
Hi! For a longer time, I cannot build all the support suite of wine programs, especially winehelp and winetest. It seems that there is some problem with perl: winetest.c: In function `xs_init': winetest.c:158: `my_perl' undeclared (first use in this function) winetest.c:158: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once winetest.c:158: for each function it appears in.) winetest.c:158: warning: passing arg 3 of `Perl_newXS' from incompatible pointer type winetest.c: In fu...

[PATCH 0/2] reset xenstore watches to fix kexec in Xen PVonHVM guests
The following series improves kexec in a Xen PVonHVM guest. It is available via git: git://github.com/olafhering/linux.git xen-kexec-XS_RESET_WATCHES-3.0 A new xenstored command XS_RESET_WATCHES has been added in xen-unstable.hg changeset 23839:42a45baf037d. The command removes all watches and transactions for the guest. The following patches make use of the new command to wipe all existing

[PATCH] make balloon driver not return pages which are in [xen_start_info->nr_pages, max_pfn] on ia64
make balloon driver not return pages which are in [xen_start_info->nr_pages, max_pfn] on ia64. On ia64 memory might be assigned sparsely. In that case xen_start_info->nr_pages and max_pfn doesn''t match while pages which are in [xen_start_info->nr_pages, max_pfn] are used. -- yamahata _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list

/proc/xen/xenbus supports watch?
Hi, Anybody (Christian?) could please tell me if we can get the support for registering watch with /proc/xen/xenbus? (..OK, I know that we will change it this /proc stuff to a device soon) So far we can only do read/write/rm. I really miss the xen watch feature. Many thanks, Hieu _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com

[patch 00/20] XEN-paravirt: Xen guest implementation for paravirt_ops interface
This patch series implements the Linux Xen guest in terms of the paravirt-ops interface. The features in implemented this patch series are: * domU only * UP only (most code is SMP-safe, but there's no way to create a new vcpu) * writable pagetables, with late pinning/early unpinning (no shadow pagetable support) * supports both PAE and non-PAE modes * xen console * virtual block

[RFC PATCH 00/35] Xen i386 paravirtualization support
Unlike full virtualization in which the virtual machine provides the same platform interface as running natively on the hardware, paravirtualization requires modification to the guest operating system to work with the platform interface provided by the hypervisor. Xen was designed with performance in mind. Calls to the hypervisor are minimized, batched if necessary, and non-critical codepaths

[PATCH 00/25] xen: Xen implementation for paravirt_ops
Hi Andi, This series of patches implements the Xen paravirt-ops interface. It applies to 2.6.21-rc7 + your patches + the last batch of pv_ops patches I posted. This patch generally restricts itself to Xen-specific parts of the tree, though it does make a few small changes elsewhere. These patches include: - some helper routines for allocating address space and walking pagetables - Xen
