Regarding Samba issue
I am experiencing a problem with all time stamps having the same date and time stamp. I found this bug report http://us1.samba.org/listproc/samba/June1998/0239.html and see there is a fix. The question I have is has this issue been resolved in later versions of Samba code. It would be easier to upgrade than deal with a code change and re compilation. Controlling unix print queues from PC
I'm running Samba 2.0.3 from the pre-built binary (ftp://sunsite.org.uk/packages/samba/Binary_Packages/solaris/samba-2.0.3 -sunos-4.1.3.tar.Z) on a Sun IPX with SunOS 4.1.3_U1. I've defined a printer in smb.conf, from a PC (NT 4.0) I can send prints to it and view the queue OK but I can't manage the queue in any way. Attempts to cancel prints and stop or start the queue from the PC

No automatic refresh?
Hi! I've been struggling with this install of Samba 2.0.4b on Linux/x86 2.0.36. All of the client machines run Windows NT 4, SP 3. I'm exporting /tmp as pub, and if I right click in the folder and create a new folder, it doesn't show up until I go to 'view' and 'refresh'. If I delete something, it doesn't go away until I refresh. Why? Output of testparm:
