[survey] R for Reporting - the R Output MAnager (ROMA) project
...I began with trying to mimic it for LaTeX but fastly did
realize that it was a bad idea.
Thus, I started again from scratch a new package and did spend a lot of
time reading about this topic, looking at what other software do (SAS ODS,
SPlus SPXML,...) and studying technologies and formats: XML+XLST, LyX,
DocBook, RTF,...
What follows is a description of my plans. This email is targetted to
interested useRs, in order to have a return on that.
It comes with a little survey at the end that will be useful to me to
target my package.
If you are also interested in Reporting (Output, Formats, Ex...

Upss cannot install
Hey, had the same problem. Check my notes via the link I sent earlier
today, http://quasi.ksl.com/icecast/
Look for the section with your same problem. apt-get works well in
getting this fixed.
Hope that helps. This is a easily fixable problem.

Hi Gilles,

My neither. Hey this is a multinational community. ;)
> Did somebody try the xsls ?
yup.
Tried your xlst-files for the stats. Noticed some improved look of the GUI. Did not try the admin xlst's coz I didn't want to mess up my productive system by some silly mistake. ;)
Now looking at the xml-code I notice you made many nice changes besides the layout. - nice work! Major rewrite of the whole x...

Re: Viewing Broadcast using scope in a Webpage
Is there a method to code on XHTML webpage that will use a "scope" to
display the music stream that is being played? (like something using
JavaScript?)...
Just curious...

RSpec 1.1.3 + ZenTest 3.9.1 + Rails 1.2.6 do NOT ignore folders ^vendor/*
...(exception)
end
I think the noise is not normal. Maybe I should write some specs to
verify this code is working ;-)
As David C. explained in his blog, I also have a .autotest in my HOME:
Autotest.add_hook :initialize do |at|
%w{.svn .hg .git .rhtml .png .txt .sh .project .rjs .rake .jpg .xml
.xlst }.each {|exception|at.add_exception(exception)}
end

Calling LISP programs in R
I have written some programs in Common Lisp and I have been using SAS to pipe
those programs to my lisp compiler in batch mode by using the %xlog and
%xlst SAS commands. I wonder if there is in R a similar way to pipe commands
to LISP so that all my work would be concentrated in R even when I have to
call a LISP program? I have looked at the foreign library but this seems to
adjust data types not for piping commands in batch mode.
Here is a simple p...

...g using the built in xslt possibilities.
- put out the raw listener numbers and process it with an external app (php/gd/perl/python)
Depends on what you want to have as output...
I like my stats as a history graph:
http://dk0td.afthd.tu-darmstadt.de/mrtg.png
This is accomplished using mrtg + some xlst + some wrapper so mrtg can read the output.
I'll put up a webpage covering this topic, but am quite busy ATM. Don’t expect this before middle/end of next week.
Oh, and - yeah uhh - nowadays I'd probably choose its successor RRDTool...
But should be fairly similar to set up.
