I converted a system disk from a virtualbox VM and added to the config on a qemu VM. All seems well until I try to mount it. The virtual machine shows data for the disk image using commands like: pvs lvs lvdisplay xena-1 but there is no /dev/xena-1/root to be mounted. I also cannot seem to figure out whether the lvm related modules are available for the virtual machine kernel. So some research and experimentation I think I found the problem, but I'm not sure how to go about fixing it. If I import one of the wav files into Audacity then export them as "16 bit PCM" then they encode to flac and play fine. The files bitrates are currently at 24. Dear All - I tried to install R-1.3.1 on a Ultrasparc 10 running Solaris 2.7. I have followed the directions in the INSTALL file exactly, but R refuses to create the file R.bin. I also had someone else, who is better with UNIX than I am, try the installation. It didn't create the R.bin file for him, either.
