Quadratic function-like call delay
...'virsh version',
- delay until call completion may be fitted nearly as quadratic
function from number of running VMs, qemu-kvm in my case (see link
below). After this delay passed, any calls executed without slowdown,
so problem is only a 'dead gap' after restarting service.

cpuset not affecting real pid placement
Hi,
At least on 0.10.2 setting a cpuset doesn`t match a real process
placement - VM still consumes all available cores.
VM config:
.snip.
<vcpu placement='static' cpuset='0-5,12-17'>12</vcpu>
.snip.
for cpuset in $(find /cgroup/cpuset/libvirt/qemu/vmid/ -name
cpuset.cpus) ; do grep 0-5 $cpuset ; done
got: empty responce, e.g. 0-23 in my setup

virtio-serial port that listens tcp socket on host
Hello. Is that possible to create virtio-serial port that on host listens
tcp socket and how to avoid duplicate listened ports in case of migration?

Incorrect currentMemory for qemu-1.2+
Hi,
Since this message(https://www.redhat.com/archives/libvirt-users/2012-October/msg00054.html)
qemu folks have released one minor version in the 1.2 branch and shiny
new 1.3 some days ago and the problem still persists. At first I has
blamed libvirt, but I was not correct at all - since I have released
package ``slices'' for myself including both newer libvirth and qemu,
I wasn`t able

Migration b/w nodes with different security models
Hello,
I`ve found that the currently end-user may not migrate a VM between
nodes with different security_require_confined, what are reasons to
forbid such a thing? The security measures are almost not applicable
here - if the guest was able to poison the emulator` stack on an
unsecured node, he may do the same on a secured one, though the
potential consequences will be far more limited. Are there

guest VM waiting for a symbol at serial console
Hi,
Recently I`ve run into weird bug, which may be reproduced in following way:
- start qemu virtual machine configured with direct boot and kernel args
like 'console=tty0 console=ttyS0,38400n8', connect to serial console,
disconnect and then shutdown vm
- try to start vm again, machine hangs on booting kernel until I press
any key into 'virsh console' session
- after first power

Re: Processor usage of qemu process.
As far as I can understand the mentioned improvement is targeted on a
polling mode for a MSSQL, there is no wonder for observing relatively
high hypervisor CPU consumption without any sign of same consumption
in a guest itself. Certain kinds of applications (PBXes,
Chrome/Chromium, seemingly MSSQL) may poll some resource very
frequently, causing wakeups in the host for guest process and
increasing

Seems that such migration is currently broken, at least for
