[Bug 19299] New: urxvt does not render fonts with background
...freedesktop.org ReportedBy: drizzd at aon.at QAContact: xorg-team at lists.x.org Created an attachment (id=21498) --> (http://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=21498) Xorg.0.log In urxvt (rxvt-unicode in Debian), the foreground of fonts with background is not visible if xcompmgr is active (presumably because urxvt uses the RENDER extension). Easily reproducible by executing: echo -e "\033[41mhi\033[mhi" For the first "hi", only the red background will be shown. [Bug 36090] [NV34] [NV49] terminal's visual bell is very slow with nouveau
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36090 --- Comment #10 from Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu> --- Hmmm... FWIW I couldn't reproduce any oddness with a NV42 card, kernel 3.11, and xf86-video-nouveau 1.0.9 both with and without xcompmgr running. Without a compositor, it _is_ a bit on the slow side, but like a half-second, nothing like the 3s delay mentioned in the original description. Anything else odd about your setup? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. -------------- next part ---------...

[Bug 36090] [NV34] [NV49] terminal's visual bell is very slow with nouveau
...way when I enabled the visual bell. Now, that's not my usual scenario. My usual is using fvwm2 as my window manager. And while it might take a second or so for the visual bell to run on a reasonable sized xterm, when I full-screen it, it really does take multiple seconds to complete. Running xcompmgr didn't speed that up, but instead of the bell visually progressing up/down the screeen (watching each line draw) it drew it all at once, then waited, then removed it all at once. Same (or, at least, similar) delay, but visually different. Note that whatever is going right/wrong didn't use...

[Bug 28320] New: Xserver hangs in an infinite loop
...riety of bugs, so tell me please, which information you need to locate the bug... I am running X.Org X Server 1.8.1 on x86_64 Gentoo with kernel 2.6.34 but I experienced this bug since 2.6.33 (maybe earlier, too). [description] I first thought, that this bug was caused by my composition manager (xcompmgr) but after disabling it the problem persisted. This bug happens spontaneous and completely at random. The Xserver stops redrawing anything but the mouse is still moving (hwcursor). I could login through ssh from another computer and attach gdb to the server, to find me inside a tight loop in drmI...

[Bug 16815] New: losing fonts in gnome-terminal and other font weirdnesses
...to disappear first. Selecting the text may help to see the characters. A new gnome-terminal opened (window not tab) does not have this problem, while the other remains "ill". I'm using gnome and the option "Composite" is enable in xorg.conf. I found out that running "xcompmgr" is 90% of the time fixing the problem. Another symptom: the Python TK interpreter, "idle" is all scrambled (screenshot to attach). In metacity windows, the titlebar sometimes goes like bold. It seems like the same text is written twice with a slight shift. I attach a screenshot as...

[Bug 14394] New: [NV4B] Composite broken on 2nd head
...window as normal (ie: a text-caret when over a textbox, etc). This happened with the switch to metacity 2.21.8. One of the changes to the compositor was to use the Composite Overlay Window. The kwin's compositor in KDE4 also exhibits the same behaviour. Composite works correctly when using xcompmgr, which leads me to suspect that it's a problem with the COW on the second head. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
