Hello, The WoW 4.0 Cataclysm patch landed today, and there's bound to be lots of questions about getting it running in wine. My current status is that I've downloaded the patch and installed it. I've got the new (original WoW) login screen graphic. Once I login, I see a new character background and then a "downloading update" message. Wine crashes moments later.

Hi, I just start using wine, and I installed WOW original with wine, on another partition (I put a new drive as E: which target that place) But when I try to install BC, the wow screen tells me I don't have he orginal wow installed and that it is needed. I can open wow, and it is displayed in my wine -> programs I want to put it there because it's my sharing partition (linux is
