ibm m1015 w/sandy bridge boot failure
I have a server running CentOS 6.0. Last night I replaced the CPU and motherboard. Old hardware: Supermicro x8sil-f + x3440. New hardware: Supermicro x9scl+-f + E3-1230. This is a new Sandy Bridge Xeon. Everything else remained the same, including an IBM m1015 SAS HBA. This is just an IBM re-branded LSI 92xx-8i (9220-8i specifically I believe), which uses the LSI SAS2008 chipset and the megaraid_sas driver....

Intel DP55WG centos 5.5 support?
Hello all, I have looked around on the HCL and on other hardware sites. Do any of you have experience with Centos 5.5 64 bit on these motherboards? Regards, Coert Waagmeester

IPMI serial console
Hi all, A recent thread inspired me to try getting a proper serial console working on a Supermicro X9SCL motherboard with IPMI. However I find that while I see loader messages and the getty I enabled after boot I don't get any kernel messages which does somewhat limit the utility.. The BMC creates COM3 (/dev/cuau2) which works with getty. I modified /boot/loader.conf like so..

[PATCH] Btrfs: cleanup orphan reservation if truncate fails
I noticed we were getting lots of warnings with xfstest 83 because we have reservations outstanding. This is because we moved the orphan add outside of the truncate, but we don''t actually cleanup our reservation if something fails. This fixes the problem and I no longer see warnings. IPMI Console: No luck once OS is booted
I have a current RELENG_7 running on: http://www.supermicro.com/products/system/4U/7045/SYS-7045B-TR+.cfm with the -3+ IPMI card. I can interact with the BIOS, etc, but no joy once we get past the loader. Anyone have ideas? Attached is the kernel config, and the /var/run/dmesg.boot file. -- Larry Rosenman http://www.lerctr.org/~ler Phone: +1 512-248-2683

Crashes in extent_io.c after "btrfs bad mapping eb" notice
Hello, I have been having some crashes like this. Since I upgraded to 3.6.4 they have become common. The crashes happen pretty randomly during normal system usage. After the syslog messages the system stays semi usable for a minute, but when I run any new program it hangs. I had to downgrade to 3.6.2 to get my system usable again. Is there any way I can help find the cause of those crashes?
