Bug#684334: xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64: Does not complete boot of dom0 kernel, extremely slow boot from BIOS RAM map onwards
Package: xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64 Version: 4.0.1-5.2 Severity: important Tags: patch I have a system based on a Supermicro X8DTH-i motherboard and a Xeon E5506 CPU. It was previously running Debian lenny with xen-hypervisor-3.2-1-amd64 / linux-image-2.6.26-2-xen-amd64 without incident. [PATCH] Btrfs: fix a deadlock on chunk mutex
An user reported that he has hit an annoying deadlock while playing with ceph based on btrfs. Current updating device tree requires space from METADATA chunk, so we -may- need to do a recursive chunk allocation when adding/updating dev extent, that is where the deadlock comes from. If we use SYSTEM metadata to update device tree, we can avoid the recursive stuff. Reported-by: Jim Schutt

Disk failure chokes all the disks attached to the failing disk HBA
Dear All, It may be this not the correct mailing list, but I''m having a ZFS issue when a disk is failing. The system is a supermicro motherboard X8DTH-6F in a 4U chassis (SC847E1-R1400LPB) and an external SAS2 JBOD (SC847E16-RJBOD1). It makes a system with a total of 4 backplanes (2x SAS + 2x SAS2) each of them connected to a 4 different HBA (2x LSI 3081E-R (1068 chip) + 2x LSI SAS9200-8e (2008 chip)). This system is has a total of 81 disk (2x...

Weird I/O hangs (9.1R, arcsas, interrupt spikes on uhci0)
...1266417827 69882 Things to note: - Booting an USB-less kernel or disabling all USB in the BIOS doesn't change a thing (no interrupt spikes to be seen, but the hangs remain) - The hangs / interrupt spikes happen just as often when the system is idle - Board is a Supermicro x8dth - There's two igb cards - Root is ZFS as well (separate pool though) - BIOS, Areca FW and driver already are latest versions - Putting the controller to a different slot doesn't change the behaviour - We have two identical systems and both show the exact same symptoms, so flaky hardware is...

FreeBSD backed with a PR1500LCDRT2U
I need some help here with getting this thing running. Every time I enable NUT on the server, I get a "on battery" status when I know that it is running on house power. This only occurs when I am monitoring it with FreeBSD(NAS4Free) When i plug the same UPS into CentOS 6.7, It works as expected. I am not sure what the difference between the NUT versions other than the base OS would be.
