Hi, I'm trying a fresh install on a x86_64 (Supermicro X7dbe, 2xIntel Xeon X5450, 8 GB, 3WARE 9650SE-8LPML, 3 disks in RAID 5). The format takes quite long (2,7 TB), that seems to be normal, but then the first boot will not take place, instead the system loops. Any hints? Hi Today I updated one machine with CentOS-5.4 (2.6.18-164.6.1.el5) x86_64 (Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5450 @ 3.00GHz) to "2.6.18-164.10.1.el5", but in some places, like /boot[1] and in the menu /boot/grub/menu.lst[2], appeared as 2.6.18-164.1.10 - the "1" and the "10" swapped.
