Just an FYI on a great server for cheap if anyone is looking for a solid Asterisk platform. I don't work for these guys or have any affiliation, I just saw this deal and used to use these and the X306s for Asterisk deployments because they were trouble free as far as hardware, IRQs, and OS. They were ~$1,000 a couple of years ago. It is a refurb so YMMV.

Hello, I am have a strange problem with remote samba servers and I am hopping some one can give me a insite into what is happening. First is the Setup I have 2 remote sites connected to a central site by 2 T1 Lines. The two remote sites each have a IBM X305 Running RedHat 9 and Samba 3.0.2a per/Site. Each box per site has been configured to be the local master(cross Subnet Browsing).All Sites use a class C Subnet. Hello, I have been having problems using kernels since 2.6.9-34.0.2. After updating to a new kernel, my system runs, I'm guessing, 6 - 8 hours fine, then becomes unresponsive. For example, I installed the latest kernel the other evening, reboot for the changes and by morning, the system appears to be locked up. Typing 'yum update' takes about 10 minutes to execute. Not sure whats

I have asterisk with two zap channels which are analog ports off a T1. They each have a inward DID number If they are used for outgoing they show the T1 main number not the DID's number. Is there any way to send caller ID of the inward DID number not the main number Jeff

...channel bank to split off six of your E1 channels into analog FXO ports. You will want this for fax lines, security systems, and dialup connections since doing this over VoIP/Asterisk can be problematic. It is best to keep these lines out of the PBX. I have done several implementations on IBM x305 and x306 servers and they work great. I cannot comment on the x100 though, since I have no experience with it.
