Wine on OpenBSD
Hi,
I was just wondering if there is any ongoing effort to get wine
ported to OpenBSD.
The wine version in their ports tree is from 1999 or so.

[PATCH 0/7] Adding a proper workaround for fixing RTD3 issues with Nouveau
First three patches are removing ACPI workarounds which should have never
landed.
The last four are adding a workaround to nouveau which seem to help quite
a lot with the RTD3 issues with Nouveau, so let's discuss and get wider
testing of those and see if there is any fallout or laptops where the
issues don't get fixed.

Getting old versions of wine?
Hi, i used to play Warcraft 3 on wine very well years ago and recently decided to give it another go, only to find that it won't work with recent versions of wine. I think this is sad beyond words, but its not my project.
I come here to ask some guidance in getting an old version of wine. My googling reveals that 0.9.10 is the one i should get. I use Ubuntu 7.10 and i can try to compile from

Cleaning up a WINE install.
I was installing a game, and I made the mistake of agreeing to install
DirectX. I'm guessing this can screw up your WINE. Is there any way to
clean up my WINE after doing something like that without having to
reinstall all my software?

[PATCH 1/7] PCI: Restore BARs on runtime resume despite being unbound
...-blown restore as "inflating the code"; I
would think of it as "having fewer special cases", i.e., we always use
the same restore path instead of having the main one plus a special
one for unbound devices.

USB-FDD
Hi,
I'm working on making an USB flash disk bootable and have succeeded in
booting Linux using syslinux from disk in USB-HDD mode. Is there a way
to do it in USB-FDD mode, possibly also using syslinux as a bootloader?
Thanks in advance.

force usage of network interface
...n wine
i know it could be solved by using a bridged vpn instead of a tunnel, but that is no option for me.
perhaps anyone has come across the same problem and knows a fix.
or maybe there is some firewall magic i could do to just manipulate the packages' route.
thanks in advance
