Samba PDC and Win2k PDC
hi,
I would like to change the old windows 2000 domain structure into one samba 3 domain. the migration is to take place gradually for the departments. I had imagined to packing the samba pdc with another domain name into the same subnetz as windows pdc.
Windows 2k DN = work.wurst.local
Samba 3 DN = work.wurst.de
IP Subnet = 192.168.2.0/24 (Samba and Windows)
is it possible ?
thank
stefan

adding AD domain users in local Linux group for acces to share
Hello,
It seems that domain user can access share when they are specified in "valid list" but not when
"valid list" use local group definition.
First if added the domain user "duser" to the group "lgroup" in /etc/group
Then i defined a samba share and add the domain user "duser in the "valid list"

Profiles XP and Service Pack 1
Hi List,
we have a 130+ PC network running windows XP on the clients, with win2000
and
samba servers (SuSE 7.3 distribution rpm for samba 2.2.3 and SuSE 8.0
selfcompiled samba 2.2.5).
The windows servers just authenticate the users, and provide some additional
services (Terminal Server and some special software packages). Print- and
File-
services are provided by the samba servers.

...to be portable to R or at least I do not realise how.
Is there anyone who
a) knows how one could make the MASS-method run under R?
or
b) has written an EM-algorithm to fit mixture models in R that I could
use?
I would be glad to hear from someone.

[BUG?] Double quota calulation when special folder is present
...posed to be allowed?
It seems
odd that 'INBOX' (as a subfolder of INBOX) would be blocked but
INBOX.SomethingElse (as
a subfolder of INBOX) would be allowed. I'd expect INBOX.SomethingElse
(i.e.
INBOX.INBOX.SomethingElse) would be blocked as well.

I can't find the package among the package sources on CRAN, so I

Can anyone help me?

Double quota calulation when special folder is present
Hello,
we're operating dovecot on a small server. Some years ago, we migrated
from courier IMAP to dovecot. Therefore, we defined our default
Namespace "inbox" with prefix "INBOX." to have this compatible. I found
this in some migration docs those days. Generally, everything worked as
expected.
Our only namespace is configured like this:
namespace inbox {
separator = .
