CentOS-5 - kmod-gfs dependency issue?
...on an RPM that can't be installed? (well, I'll be able to jam it in, of course, but...) Is this just me doing something silly (capability-upgrading a system after having run an update), or is this an actual dependency issue? -S -- Simen Thoresen, Dolphin ICS Systems Administration and Wulfkit Support

CentOS 4.4 - added disk prevents system from booting past initrd
...the partition that holds the filesystem. Thus fsck'ing /dev/sda1 does not bring any useful. But why? Why does the initrd insist on fsck'in /dev/sda1, when it should check LABEL=/? Is there something I'm not getting here? -S -- Simen Thoresen, Dolphin ICS Systems Administration and Wulfkit Support

iSCSI target in CentOS 4?
...CSI, and I'm wondering if there is an iSCSI target (I've found the initiator in iscsi-initiator-utils) that ships with CentOS, or if not, what the recommended target would be. I'd like to export either a partition or (preferably) a file-as-a-partition. Yours, -S -- Simen Thoresen, Wulfkit Support, Dolphin ICS http://www.tysland.com/~simentt/cluster

I have not spent much time picking initrds appart yet, but I will be happy to assist in testing. Yours, -S -- Simen Thoresen, Wulfkit Support, Dolphin ICS http://www.tysland.com/~simentt/cluster
