Version download problem?
Trying to download the 3.1 iso's of CentOS and no matter which mirror I go to, or release 3 version, I always see the 3.6 iso's.
URL: http://wuarchive.wustl.edu/pub/linux/distributions/centos/3.1/isos/i386/
Shows all of the 3.6 iso files.
Some reason why I can't find the older release files?
Thanks,

compiling 0.62.3 for SunOS 4.1.4 and Solaris 2.6
...Charles Berry's forward of Ross Ihaka's suggestion about
putting fake #defines for gamma and lgamma in src/include/Mathlib.h (this
works best on the second pass, after the graphics library (which also
contains a "gamma" function) has compiled).
- I got regex-0.12 from ftp://wuarchive.wustl.edu/systems/gnu/, made
it into libregex.a, hacked HAVE_REGCOMP in src/include/Platform.h, and
added /usr/local/lib/libregex.a to RLIBS in src/main/Makefile (there
didn't seem to be a way to get configure to recognize it automatically).
- got readline-2.2 and installed it.

Changed md5sums on a bare-bones install. Logical explanation?
...files are also changing (under /usr/lib for example. Tripwire,
if installed, goes *nuts*).
My first inclination is that this is a virus, but I have
installed this OS on a non-networked machine from what I
believe to be clean CDs.
* More information:
I downloaded the x86_64 installation ISOs from wuarchive.wustl.edu.
I checked md5sums and burned the ISO images to CD and then
checked the md5sums again. I am assuming this to mean
that the CDs are OK.
I then installed the "Minimal" package from these CDs onto
a machine which was not connected to the network. I
allowed the installer to refo...

Yum missing dependency
I haven't run any updates on my systems recently, but now I'm trying to
get them up to date again. When I run a yum update, I get this error:
Error: Missing Dependency: initscripts >= 7.93.26.EL-1 is needed by
package httpd
I did a Google search, but I didn't find anything relating directly to
CentOS or RHEL and there was no fix suggested.
If it makes a difference, I am running
