truncated files on write with tftpd-hpa

tftpd-hpa wrong data
...out after 500ms (it is a client on an embedded device so I cannot provide an example). Occasionally, after a write request is sent, the client times-out and resends the write request. tftp times out
...standard workstation. I am testing it between two Dell poweredge servers running CentOS 4.3. "chkconfig --list |grep tftp" shows tftp up and running on both boxes. When connected "tftp>status" shows it is talking to the other box "tptp>trace" shows "sent WRQ <file=slavelit, mode=netascii>" and ends with Transfer timed out. I have tftp is being run under xinetd. HDT & DMI updates
Thanks for pointing this out. Applied in 3b3bc3675519e1530adab27480196eb3f1a458bc Note that I've been adding some code in that branch to support the tftp WRQ from libupload when running with lpxelinux. 2015-09-02 12:18 GMT+02:00 Gene Cumm <gene.cumm at gmail.com>: > On Fri, Aug 14, 2015 at 4:41 AM, Erwan Velu via Syslinux > <syslinux at zytor.com> wrote: > > Hi folks, > > > > I've been off for a pretty long time...

syslinux6 EFI fail to boot via pxe
.... No? > > -- > Matt Fleming, Intel Open Source Technology Center > Hi Matt, the server is listening on the port. I reviewed the RFC for TFTP and it say that the server would response with an error if the source TID is not correct: 1. Host A sends a "RRQ" or "WRQ" to host B with source= A's TID, destination= 69. 2. Host B sends a "ACK" (with block number= 0) to host A with source= B's TID, destination= A's TID. At this point the connection has been established and the first data packet can...

HDT & DMI updates
Hi folks, I've been off for a pretty long time and I'm trying to resume a little bit. While testing HDT I found some serious bugs in HDT's CLI mode but also took the time to update the DMI detection tables. Please find my hw_update branch which is in sync with the current git tree. https://github.com/ErwanAliasr1/syslinux/commits/hw_update Erwan,

Compiling OpenSSH with OpenSSL-fips 0.9.8o on Windows
My office is currently using WRQ Reflections as it was FIPS compliant. But this option is an expense that we'd like to get rid of if possible. Putty is not an option for us since it uses it's own OpenSSL libs and we need it FIPS enabled. I've been able to build OpenSSL 0.9.8o and enable the fipcanister.lib and create...

OpenVMS SSH password expiry woes continue
I sent in a patch a week or so ago for a problem a customer of mine was seeing when trying to connect to their OpenVMS system with an 3.8.1p2 OpenSSH client (running on a linux box or in cygwin) and trying to login to an account who had an expired password. The problem continues although now it has nothing to do with what my patch handled as they have since upgraded their SSH software on the VMS
