WSAStartup failure
Hi,
I added the Windows::WSA module to windows-pr recently (it''s in the latest
git repo). However, I can''t seem to make WSAStartup work. I tried the
following bit of code, only to get "The Windows Sockets version requested is
not supported" on my Vista box.
Is it really not supported on Vista? The docs say Win2k or later. Or is
there another issue?

hashing filters
Hi all,
I am a newbie and I have not played a lot with tc utility. I have red maybe everything that has to do with massive filtering (maybe not everything). If you can help me on this I would appriciate that very much. I use tc utility with iproute2-ss040831.
I want to limit bandwidth for the 192.168.0.0/16 subnet using this script.
tc qdisc del dev eth0 root
tc qdisc add dev eth0 root

IPSEC VPN to VPN firewalling problem
Dear Shorewall Users :-)
I''ve been playing with shorewall for some time now - I found it really
interesting and easy tool to organise all the rules and so on (beforethat
I''ve been using simple iptables rules in shell script ;-)
Generally it''s quite easy to be used, but anyway found one problem which I
cannot handle myself - or in other words - cannot find appropriate

Open the /etc/default/icecast2 file as root in an editor. The last line
needs to be changed to
ENABLE=true
It still looks like it is set to
ENABLE=false

[PATCH] Update the 5 year logo to 10 year logo
Already outdated, but rounded ;)
I literally just opened the 5yrs logo, changed the text and then done:
inkscape -z -o logo/fish-10yrs.{png,svg}
cp {logo,website}/fish-10yrs.svg
and then updated the rest of the files.

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list.
I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without
modifications.
How did I try it?
Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock )
Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a
rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee
prep-out.log
The build failed at the end:

TEST 3
If you get a "connection refused" response then the smbd server may
not be running. If you installed it in inetd.conf then you probably
edited
that file incorrectly. If you installed it as a daemon then check
that
it is running, and check that the netbios-ssn port is in a LISTEN
state using "netstat -a".
Note: You have xinetd not inetd on the redhat box. To avoid all
