DRY validates_format_of?
In a model I have following validates_format_of. Is there an easy way to DRY this up? Many domain - one rails application
If I have many domains and one rails application, how can I redirect to conrollers by domain? Ex. Strip & Sanitize BEFORE saving data
So I''ve googled my brains out, and I see a lot of talk about TextHelper for views, but next to no discussion about cleaning text _before_ it is saved. I figured this had to be asked 4 zillion times, but I''m not finding anything concrete/obvious. Using h is fine as a safety catch, but that alone is not acceptable to me as the means of diffusing the impact of HTML or JS

what''s your rails wishlist?
I''ve been working with rails for a while now. Rails is the second web framework I''ve tried. It blows the doors off catalyst (perl''s best framework). I even just wrote my first plugin (broomstick). Ruby''s ability to meta-program blew me away with it''s ease of use. I''ve been so impressed with the helpers that rails uses to make a lot of
