Hang on boot with 4.9-STABLE
Yet another hang on boot issue wqith 4.9. I havn't seen anything the
same go through the list and I've searched the archives but not found
anything appropriate.
Box that has been rock solid under 4.8-P3, took it to 4.9-R and

Getting --delete to work, simply
rsync version 3.1.2 protocol version 31
I've run into an issue using rsync on my QNAP NAS. I've installed Entware-ng
on the NAS so that I can install better versions of programs, rsync being
one of them.
But, I've run into an issue wqith using the --delete option, as it has
problems using wildcards.
Initially a backup script looked like:
#!/bin/sh
for d in /share/Public/videos/[Gg]*
do
rsync -av --delete $d /share/Backup-HDD-03
done
I've discovered that any directory that starts with "A", or "a" that is o...

cannot ping my virtual machine

i have a sun blade server which conects the keyboard , mouse and cd rom
with a front panel USB cable . so the cd rom was removed and hence my
virtual servers were not starting up
but now i see a new problem.
i am not able to ping the gateway
let me explain
my sun blade has 2 network cards wqith centos 5.5
one has a public ip and the other my internal network ip.
the gateway for my sun blade is the public ip
now from the sun server i can ping the gateway. also i can ping the private
network gateway both of which on my core switch
