Sub-Directories
I've searched hard in texts, email threads, FAQs etc. and cannot find out how to successfully utilize sub-directories below my WorkingDirectory. I can create them, and create R objects within the sub-directories but (a) the objects() command lists ONLY the objects in the WorkingDirectory and none of those in the sub-directory although I can use them (if I remember their names!). html5 icecast video source client
Five years after initially posting to this list[0], I finally completed as browser-based video source client iceast. The code is here: https://gitlab.com/jamie/icecream As Romain Beauxis responded to my initial email, webrtc was unsuitable and websockets was the way to go. Thanks for the help! jamie 0. http://lists.xiph.org/pipermail/icecast-dev/2013-July/002223.html -- May First/People Link

I've just tried upgrading to cwrsync 2.1.0 (Rsync version 3.0.0 protocol version 30) between 2 Windows XP Pro sp2 machine across the Internet. I used: SET CYGWIN=nontsec SET HOME=c:\cwrsync\bin C:\cwrsync\bin\rsync -za -u -P --delete --recursive /cygdrive/c/test2/ stuart@test.address.co.uk::test/ When I run the above batch script on the remote machine I get this odd output.

How to use http-put for JavaScript source client
I'm following up on a thread started by Stephen a couple months ago about building a JavaScript source client using webrtc. The first step suggested was to figure out how to mux the audio and video. After I posted a feature request on the webrtc experiment js library, we seem to have a solution: https://github.com/muaz-khan/WebRTC-Experiment/issues/28#issuecomment-20791759 Based on the last

How to use http-put for JavaScript source client
Thanks so much for the comprehensive response Romain. It sounds like you are working hard getting this working with audio streams and it's a lot more complicated than I had originally hoped. I'm still curious about the proper syntax of the http put command though (and I'm sure others would be interested as well). Is there any documentation on the parameters to send? I also had a

permission problems on amazon ec2
I'm marching forward trying to get asterisk running on a amazon EC2 instance, Fedora 19. If I start it from the terminal all works. I can login as user "asterisk" and start asterisk. But if I try to use systemctl to start it automatically I get the error it doesn't have the permission to open asterisk.conf. cat /usr/lib/systemd/system/asterisk.service [Unit]

It might be SELinux. On a standard system; when we run things as a user from the command line SELinux rules do not apply. It would explain why it works manually but not via systemd. Rather than using an init.d script you might want to try using a systemd service. I haven't tested but something like this should work. [Unit] Description=timidity daemon [Service] PIDFile=/var/run/timidity.pid
