unicorn 0.94.0 - small fixes and new features
Unicorn is a HTTP server for Rack applications designed to only serve
fast clients on low-latency, high-bandwidth connections and take
advantage of features in Unix/Unix-like kernels. Slow clients should
only be served by placing a reverse proxy capable of fully buffering
both the the request and response in between Unicorn and slow clients.

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] CMake add_version_info_from_vcs SVN_REPOSITORY
This will be used by Clang to show full build information when
LLVM_APPEND_VC_REV is enabled and LLVM/Clang are built from Git.
Also try to figure-out repository URL and revision from Git mirror parsing
git-svn-id: footer from last commit (if present).

Cmake-gen'd parallel make breaks on native tablegen
Alright, this version works for me.
Anything else that needs to be done?

Cmake-gen'd parallel make breaks on native tablegen
It should probably be inside an `if(LLVM_USE_HOST_TOOLS)` block.
That way the extra target and command won’t get added unless needed and CMake won’t spew dev warnings. Adding a target with a nonexistent dependency makes CMake dump a bunch of developer warnings.
Other than that this looks good. Does it resolve the issue for you?

Cmake-gen'd parallel make breaks on native tablegen
Hello backend devs,
Been working on a parallelization bug in the cmake configs, where parallel makefile builds of llvm with clang and native tablegen would usually break during linking in either either the clang_tblgen or llvm_tblgen targets. Looking at the cmake command that generates the tablegen makefile commands (I think) (cmake/modules/TableGen.cmake:113-117):

Unicorn doesn't play nice with Capistrano deployment?
I am having issues when using unicorn with a Capistrano deployment.
>From what I have been able to understand Capistrano uses a scheme in
wich every release is deployed inside the releases directory under a
unique name and if the transaction was successful, creates a symlink
named current that will point to that release.
So I end up with a deployment directory such as:

unicorn doesn't restart properly after cap deploy (not using Bundler)
Hey guys,
I''m sending USR2 to unicorn after cap deploy, and the old master is
getting replaced by a new master that doesn''t work.
Here are some similar threads I found ...

preload_app = true causing - ActiveModel::MissingAttributeError: missing attribute: some_attr
Greetings,
I''m getting this - ActiveModel::MissingAttributeError: missing
attribute: some_attr - on a random basis under a unicorn server,
running rails 3.2 and ruby 1.9.3
As the case of the last poster in the following thread -
https://github.com/rails/rails/issues/1906 - I too am able to resolve
this issue by settingpreload_app to false.
However, this is not the behaviour I want to

[LLVMdev] compiler-rt CMake build
Hi Brad,
Thanks for investigating this. Do you think it makes sense to land my
ExternalProject_Add patch
so that others can experiment with it? I can add quit with a
fatal_error/warning if the build tree rules
are generated with Ninja. However, there is a problem with Unix Makefiles
as well: parallelism doesn't
work when I run "make check-compiler-rt -j8" in the original build tree,

Basic (newbie) Webrick / ssl config question
I have a simple Intranet app I want to make accessible via the
Internet for remote access by our employees.
I want to use ssl (https) connections and I''ve found enough messages
to imply Webrick as included in rails can do the job.
The message at

even appears to tell me exactly how to do it by modifying

I have an application i''m installing on my application server. I''ve

prototype development mode. This works fine on my development machine
using both http and https, where the host is ''localhost'' (ports

Unicorn doesn't reload the app after the HUP signal
Hi folks, I''ve experimented a problem while deploying my app, I''ve
sent the HUP signal to the master process, I''ve checked everything is
ok: new master and workers are spawned and the old ones are
killed(I''ve checked the PIDs), but the new code deployed isn''t
reflected in the living site, so I''ve to stop and start again unicorn

unicorn 3.6.0 release soon
Mainly small fixes, improvements, and workarounds for fork() issues
with pseudo-random number generators shipped with Ruby (Kernel#rand,
OpenSSL::Random (used by SecureRandom and also by Rails).
If there are any other fixes/improvements that could be useful let us
know. I think this is nearing the end of the line for the 3.x series
which will then go into maintenance mode. I''m looking
