We are running HPUX 11 samba 2.0.6 and whenever we have to add a new user (once or twice a month) we have to add them to the Windows domain, the Unix passwd file and then set them up in Samba for a password. is there a simpler way? Not sure yet what or where the problems are but having just done a jum update on my HP laptop (nw8240) and my IBM desktop from 2.6.9.42.0.2.EL the laptop is locking up during boot sequence and the desktop when running VMware Workstation seems to take all CPU and makes strange noises from the loudspeaker. I was messing around with a ramdisk on a pool and I forgot to remove it before I shut down the server. Now I am not able to mount the pool. I am not concerned with the data in this pool, but I would like to try to figure out how to recover it. I am running Nexenta 3.0 NCP (b134+).
