"could not connect to host - localhost"
...rd is incorrect". This does not appear to be a single problem but a combination of problems so any guidance would be appreciated. I've searched the faq with no results and read the DOCs and a bunch of other stuff and I'm into day 6 of frustration here. Thanks for the help. configuration problem
...and is given on the Linux box. The same transfer when the command is initiated on the Windows box proceeds at full speed. I'm routinely moving 20,000+ files back and forth across the network so this is a vital function. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong? Thanks for the help. Samba 3.0.10-1.4E and RedHat ES 4.0
I have successfully, well somewhat successfully, joined a native Windows 2003 Active Directory domain as a domain member. The "home" domain has a two-way trust relationship with another domain in the same Forest. The Samba server can provide proper access to any object within it's "home" domain, however, I am having difficulty providing access to the Samba server share(s)
