Wombling
Hello, Does anyone know if there is any package in R to perform wombling (sensu Barbujani et al. 1990) or a related method? RSiteSearch only gives 2 results with "wombling" and I am not aware of any other name for the method. Some weeks ago there was a related question on the list but there was no response... I acknowledge that programming it wouldn'...

Workgroup compared to Domain
Are there any good articles comparing features/functions of a Workgroup compared to a Domain? I am trying to put something together for the Amahi project and so far my searches have been rather slim pickins.

nagios_service types and "name"
It seems that the nagios_service type will not write out the "name" property of nagios service objects. I had thought this was an oversight or a bug, till I saw this thread: http://www.mail-archive.com/puppet-bugs@googlegroups.com/msg10387.html which seems to imply that this is a deliberate "feature". Is this prohibition on "name" really the desired behaviour?

features and form filling - going declarative?
I''m working on writing features for a wizard. The wizard collects information from a number of different forms, and you can navigate through it in a number of ways. Anyhow one of these forms is a customer form collecting name, and email. In the context of the wizard I feel that the following scenarios Scenario: Given I step to customer And I fill in my customer details

[PATCH RFC v13 00/20] Introduce PVH domU support
This patch series is a reworking of a series developed by Mukesh Rathor at Oracle. The entirety of the design and development was done by him; I have only reworked, reorganized, and simplified things in a way that I think makes more sense. The vast majority of the credit for this effort therefore goes to him. This version is labelled v13 because it is based on his most recent series, v11.

[Bridge] bug(?) in br_device_event causes kernel panic for 2.6.14
Hi there- I think I have a bug to report :-( I'm trying to setup up a bridge for use with OpenVPN on my Gentoo box- resulting in a lot of fiddling and creating/destroying bridges (mostly to do with me getting things right in gentoos network config scripts.) What I've noticed is that when I create br0, and try and add eth0, it says it's already part of a bridge (it isn't - no
