...don't have access to a x64 machine anymore, so I can't test that architecture on vmkit. Could you install a virtual machine on your machine that is x86_32? I know it has been successfully built and ran on x86_32 on different systems. O-direct on ext3 file ssytem
Hi, Does anybody know whether the ext3 file system support Direct_io? if so, how do you enable it? I went through the man page of mount, and it did not mention such option? my system is running : Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 3 (Taroon Update 2) Kernel 2.4.21-15.ELsmp on an i686 Thanks much!!! ...omfirm that I have just clean built the current LLVM and VMKIT revisions and it failed too. The problem seems to be the same one (about escape analysis in LLVM). My configuration is Ubuntu 10.04 and GCC 4.4.3 on x86. portsentry+shorewall
Hello, i use shorewall for a very long time (2 years or so) and i use it for nat and as firewall....i now use portsentrys to detect portscans but there is one problem...i use the HOWTO from the shorewall mailing list to make portsentry and shorewall work together....but there is one prob portscans get detected and a drop rule is added to shorewall for example shorewall drop 62.178.xxx.xx

Compilation problem with linux/falloc.h include in rsync.h
