Replication issues master <-> master nfs backend
...ays the case, but its happening enough daily. I then log into one
and run sync manually. Which usually syncs the mail on both servers, and then it arrives in
the inbox.
Here is an example, mail is on mail2, but not mail1. I am checking email on mail1 so I am not
seeing the 1 email.
Mail1
/home/wlt-ml/.maildir/new:

Mail2
/home/wlt-ml/.maildir/new:

Then I manually log into mail2 and run this command, though usually I can run it from either
side, and just change the name to the other server.

Master-Master replication question
Dear list,
I have setup a master-master replication setup. My primairy MX's send email over on a DNS loadbalanced way, so DNS is doing some kind of round-robin way of sending mail to both master servers.
I found out, that on one of the two machines, the email synchronisation is heavily delayed.
Lets assume server A receives a mail from the MX; it synchronises almost instantly with the other

passdb {driver = shadow args = override_username=%variable}
Hello list
I want to implement override_username = %variable for the "shadow"
driver, so that the following works:
passdb {
driver = shadow
args = override_username=%Ln
}
by "%variable", I mean "Variables" at http://wiki.dovecot.org/Variables.
I've hacked up a solution with strtok(3C), but that's a hack and a
possible security hole, and I'd rather

multipath algorithm
I''ve been reading about multipath routes and found something that no howto I
saw mentioned so far: multipath algorithms.
The kernel has the followings:
# zgrep MULTIPATH_ /proc/config.gz
CONFIG_IP_ROUTE_MULTIPATH_CACHED=y
CONFIG_IP_ROUTE_MULTIPATH_RR=m
CONFIG_IP_ROUTE_MULTIPATH_RANDOM=m
CONFIG_IP_ROUTE_MULTIPATH_WRANDOM=m
CONFIG_IP_ROUTE_MULTIPATH_DRR=m
CONFIG_DM_MULTIPATH_EMC

No it''s changed. In a nut shell. Hitting reply sends reply to sender of
email. Defaults to private.
Just about every mailer has a Reply To All, which does just that. So in
the case of mailing lists. It seems many are migrating in that
direction. Which

Highway robbery. More so the low end printers that vendors love to toss
in for free. They cost more in ink than they are worth. We need to lobby
the govt to regulate prices on ink ;)
