wireless question
...ht now. So
I would like to find out if there is a way I can make this work. I was
thinking about connecting the second wireless router to my pc through
the ethernet port, and let the router be my wireless connection instead
of a wireless card. Now, is there a way I can get the second router to
talk wirelessly to the router that's connected to my broadband modem,
and surf the web and everything else that way?
Any help would be appreciated.

Why wireless interface cannot be attached to a Linux host bridge?
Hello, everyone.
I'm from japan and using machine translation, so I apologize if it's hard
to read.
I am currently trying to build a virtual environment using Ubuntu and kvm.
However, I found out from the following page that the virtual machine
cannot use the bridge network because I am using a wireless network.

Turning Wireless Radio on and off: how?
Hi all,
I've got a Dell Inspiron 1501 with a Broadcom 1390 Wlan mini card
(integrated) wireless lan chipset. I've got an init script setup to
activate the wireless connection at boot time, however when the system
boots the adapter doesn't connect. I'm not able to get a connection
until after the desktop is done loading and I run the script from the
command line.

Wireless LANs and Asterisk
Has anyone had any experience with wireless LANs and Asterisk?
We have and here are my impressions.
We configured an Asterisk in the office as a precaution to see how it
would work for our own retail customers. Our office is open space, about
800 sq ft. (20x40 area). We use Snom200 and Grandstream SIP phones.

wireless
Hello again,
At this school I am working we are setting up a wireless network. What would be the best way to set up the system to this network? How should we log in to Samba? What should I consider. The wireless system has already been purchased by people who have left.
Kind regards

I wonder if anyone has any suggestions on how to setup a network to run VPN
over wireless.
I currently have:
Wireless Laptop ----> Router with VPN pass through ---> DSL modem.
There is also a wired desktop running Win '98se connected to the router.
The Wireless Laptop is running XP Pro sp1.
I am open for suggestions on how to run VPN over the wireless. I just want to

Following the wireless connection tutorial on CentOS wiki, I have both

Strange behaviour of Samba3 with wireless clients
I have built my own wireless AP with Ubuntu 7.10 and an Atheros-based
wireless card. My problem is that I can't access any of the Samba shares
with my wireless clients...they can all search for the server, get
prompted for a login then it just hangs and eventually times out.
The same clients, when using their LAN ports to connect to the same
server, are able to do everything--browse and

Wireless Interface Does Not Connect Automatically At StartUp
I have recently installed CentOS 6 on a system with a Realtek 8180L
wireless card. The wireless card is detected properly and uses the
rtl8180 driver. But it connects to our wireless network only after
logging to the Desktop Environment (GNOME) and using the Network
Manager Applet. In order to make the wireless card connect to the
network automatically at system start up, I edited the Connection
