Hi All, I'm the happy new owner of a Hitachi WIP-5000 Wifi SIP handset. While getting it working with * was not a problem it does occasionally get too lagged for the default SIP settings. Hi All, To coincide with my Asterisk 1.4 Beta Howto, I've also started the spandsp3 howto. The howto is functioning, however when attempting to use rxfax or txfax it crashes asterisk. I am not a programmer thus couldn't figure out how to make it not seg. Check out the WIP howto for more information, and diffed files. I see that ABPTech are now offering this SIP Wifi phone. Does anyone have an experience with it? I've considered the Pulver/Zyxel wifi phone but would really rather have something that can handle WEP or WPA. I run an 802.11g wlan with 256 bit WPA encryption.
