Rmysql linking to an old-ish mysql build
Hi,
I'm trying to get Rmysql to work o windows server 2008 64-bit.
I have the latest build of mysql installed (mysql-5.1.34-winx64).
When trying to load Rmysql, I got a warning that Rmysql is linking to an
old-ish mysql build (5.0.67).
I could do some basic stuff (the connection works) but it breaks when
trying to read a large table.
So I set up to use the buld 5.0.67 that Rmysql likes.
10 hrs later and after lots of sysadm...

MSI Package Provider and Install_options
Hello,
I''m trying to install a few MSI packages on Windows, and I''m having trouble
specifying options.
Here is what I want to execute
C:\packages\my_problematic_package.msi \quiet \passive
As you can see, I''m trying to specify two arguments to the package, but I
can''t figure out how to use the Puppet package resource to accomplish this.

[PATCH][SVM] remove FFXSR CPUID bit for AMD-V HVM guests
Remove visibility of the FFXSR CPUID bit to an HVM guest.
This patch allows HVM Windows x64 to install/boot on AMD-V platforms.
This patches applies cleanly to xen-unstable 13743.
Please apply to xen-unstable/3.0.5.
If possible, pls apply to xen-3.0.4-testing.

mysql and windows
CentOS 5.0 x86 provides mysql for free. However I couldn't find a free
version of mysql for windows. Isn't there any for windows?
