CMS centos3
Anyone using or recomend a content management system that will install
without out a lot of mucky muck on a Centos3 system? I looked at Zope
but it needs a newer Python, Midgaard looks likes it's geared towards
RHEL4. OpenCMS looks like it runs on java so that might work. I have
yet to look at Rubyrails and Django.

mondo Centos4
I had asked a few months ago if anyone knew if mondo is compatible
with CentOS4. One person said it was still working, but never mentioed
if he had done a restore. I had the stable version installed and
whenever I ran it there were a few messages about command not found.
Well, I had a HD go out and tried booting from the CD and it failed.
It was just my desktop PC and my home dir was backed up a

squid ldap novell
One of my future projects is to get squid working with ldap and
novell. Has anyone had experience doing this on CentOS/RHEL? I''ve
never worked with ldap, and I''m barely familiar with novell. I''m
mostly looking to see if there are any issues I''ll have before I get
into reading ldap docs and such. I''ll be using CentOS3.4.

RHEL torrents 64?
I've been working on my first install of Xen all morning. I grabbed
the RHEL rpms torrent from
http://www.xensource.com/xen/downloads/dl_x30rhel4_bt.html yesterday.
I've tried a few tutorials and I have the same results, a kernelpanic
and a quick reboot (can't see what the error is). After some poking
around, it looks like al lthe xen stuff has a 64 in it. Are those
rpm's supposed

suslog alternate log file
I have a cisco router sending syslog messages to a linux server. I've
been looking around on how to log those into a separate file and I've
run across using local7 in various howtos. It looks like you can have
8 different local log settings, but I can't seem to find any docs on
how to set those up. Anyone have a howto on that?

nagios config gui
I'm starting to play around with nagios, as others already know the
configs are a pain lol. I looked at monarch but it needs mysql 4 and
also nagmin for webmin but either I dont have all the paths setup
correctly or it just doesn't work.
Anyone have a config gui that works on a standard CentOS3 install?

openoffice spellcheck
Anyone use the spell check in OO on Cent4?
When I start the spell checker, it has the dialog to change misspelled
words, I select the properly spelled words but it never changes the
words in the document. Anyone else get this or is there some config I
need to set to save changes for the spell checker?

cache memory not being used
Since I upgraded to 4.2 it looks like the cache memory doesn't go over
about 70K or so. I have over 700K free and it started using swap,
which doesn't normally happen for a few days or so. Any hints on what
might be up?
This is just after a compile and the cached is only 75k
total used free shared buffers cached

firefox update extensions
The update feature in FF appears to be disabled, which is fine since
I upgrade from the repositories. But it looks like the extension
updates are disabled as well. Even if I go to the extensions menu,
right click on update they don't seem to update.
Is there a setting to enable extension updates? I set
extension.update.autoupdate to true in about:config and that didn't
seem to help.

dhcpd proxy and/or windows autoupdates
At one of our sites we have most outgoing ports blocked and everyone
going through squid for web access. But it seems Windows autoupdate
doesn't pick up the local users proxy settings so we ended up opening
port 80 to some of the windows update servers.
While searching around I found and option called custom-proxy-server
but I don't see that setting in the man pages. Anyone have
