Can't See All Linux Shares
...access the shares from a Linux machine, two of the four shares do not
show up, although the system things do. I've searched the FAQ and the
wiki but I can't locate any references to such a problem. Any help from
the list will be sincerely appreciated.
The four shares in question are: [winstuff], [music library], [photo
library], and [uop].
The two that show up okay are: [winstuff] and [uop].
The two that don't show up are: [music library] and [photo library].
Here's my current smb.conf file:

Configuring Wine to use on a separate partition
Is it possible to put Wine on somewhere that's other than the Home
partition? Like a separate "windows" partition?
Also, as I intend to use the Home partition to store most of my
work/documents, is there a way for Wine to look beyond the Home/
whatever directory it's in? In other words is there a config file in
Wine that I can map drives? I want it to be able to look into into

you're running, unless you're a neat freak like me and 1) like to know
precisely where everything is and 2) like to get to your directories
somewhat faster in a file manager-- you can get to an installation
directory installed to a partition mounted in ~/winstuff much faster in
a file manager than if you have to Show Hidden Directories => .wine =>
c_drive => Program\ Files => install directory => program.exe (or
program.cfg, if your goal is to edit DeusEx.ini, for example). But of
course you could just make a higher-level symlink in your ~ di...
