Hi Folks I'm trying to run my homebanking-software under wine. How can I get networkaccess with wine ? I have already copied the winsock32.dll, but I think there has to be bone more but that ! Exists a FAQ for that problem ? -- Gru? Frank

...ows/system directory contains 5 dll files only, 4 of them with 0 size but locally I have all windows dlls in place (windows/system). These files are: Msvcrt.dll - size: 266,293 - seems to be ok shell.dll - size: 0 - impossible shell32.dll - size: 0 - impossible winsock.dll - size: 0 - impossible winsock32.dll - size: 0 - impossible Permissions are the same, but still, I can not see them from the filemanager. Just started looking at icecast and am trying to play with LibShout. My dev environment is cygwin at the moment. I managed to build libOgg and LibVorbis but seem to have run into a problem with Libshout. The configure script complains about winsock32.h (and tells me to email this group). See the attached log.txt for details. I also include an edited config.log so you can see the details of the problem. I've just updated my Ubuntu system with the latest Wine from wine.org hoping it would resolve an ongoing problem with the Windows Pegasus email program. Pegasus loads fine, address books and identities all there but the Internet Options is greyed out. I've tried enabling and disabling the winsock32.dll option, I've tried suggestions of deleting pmail.cfg and winpm-32.manifest. I've tried running Pegasus from the original c:\pmail directory as well as a version installed within my /home/.wine/ folder.
